Not a coffee lover. I dint want it. I just needed it for my eyes to keep wide-open during my abnormal shift.
And here comes the Christmas season. In this fancy coffee shop, it their tradition to roll-out bunch of stickers where you collect and if completed, you get your much awaited planner.
Sabi ko sa sarili, last year ko pa gustong magkaron ng ganitong planner. A planner in which its paper is not an ordinary-made paper. Its cover is water repelant. And its design (well, there really is no content) just suits my needs.
Now here’s the thing. 9 Christmas flavored drinks. 9 core flavored drinks. Woah! Too much coffee! A lot of gastos! What to do? What to do?
Aha! I remembered those kiddos who had a pending treat to me! And those people whom I really missed and just wanna have some convo with them.
Here you go. A very strategic way of collecting the stars.
Hey don’t get me wrong. I really missed those kids and friends! The coffee shop’s tradition was just the right timing. Talk about hitting two birds in one stone. 😉
At first she dint want to treat me. I said that’s fine. But when we saw each other at the Gateway branch, humirit lang ako. And she said, okay! Woah! Two stickers, huh?
And then there’s this BIG guy who really supports me in everything that I do. And I really appreciate it. He even treated me twice! Two stickers again. Wohoo!
And here came this pretty girl who had a pending treat with me. She said she would treat me a year ago when she was promoted as Software Engineer but because of site and schedule difference, it dint happen. Pero ngayon desidido ako sa stickers. Haha. Little did I know that it will be a very, very good coversation with her. A time well-spent with this lady. Had a chance to share her my experiences at work and why is it important to stay on focus with your goals.
And then there’s this bulk treat from my manager and associate manager. Sabi nga nila binully ko sila. Haha. At Citywalk 2, Eastwood, Branch
And here’s the bulk of sticker sponsors. My team! At the Capitol Commons branch. I thank my team for supporting my stickers!
And of course my own expense of coffee. Hindi naman puro treat lang. Haha.
And it’s now completed! I thank God for all the generous kiddos who supported my little kahilingan.
And I claimed my planner! Well, I initially wanted the brown one. But then I realized, I want to be as classic and formal as possible. Kaya black na lang. Hindi ako nagsisi kasi maganda yung planner.
I even wrote at the inside cover of the planner the namea of those who supported my kalokohan.
And even practiced how to write my name! Haha.
Well, I wanted to have a planner, really. I even canvassed at different bookstores but none of those suited my needs and taste.
It is my commitment to use it and ti enjoy it until December 2015. It is a year full of plans and implementations. I know I will he able to do the old school kind of jotting down of notes. I wanna feel again the smell of the pen, the book, and the pencil and eraser. 🙂
Purchasing this though had consequences. Calories consequences. But I told myself, minsan ko lang pagbibigyan tong gusto ko. And hindi lahat ng 18 cups ay saken. Haha.
I wanna record all the things I want and all the events I wanna attend! 2014 has been a year full of challenges yet God was so faithful and God is so good to even bless me with different things – work, spiritual family, my family, and a lot, lot more to be thankful!
