Alas dos ng hapon. Mainit. Maalikabok. Magtratrabaho. Mid shift ang aking schedule. Pawisan. Ang init. Alikabok. Traffic. Pamatay na shift and pagiging midshift.

Habang umaandar ang jeep, out of nowhere, may naisip akong kakaiba. Kakaiba kasi sa tuwing sumasakay ako ng jeep at traffic meaning I have time to spare instead of whining over the slow traffic I take a nap. I rest my eyes. Pero ito hindi. Hindi ako natulog. Hindi ko pinahinga yung mga mata ko. Instead, I asked myself a simple question that involved ALL passengers.

Mahirap? Madaming utang?

Nainis ako. Nainis kasi naging judgemental ako. I judged them based on their looks.

Ah eto mukhang TL. Accenture ata. Ganda ng phone eh. Gara.

On that moment napaisip ako. I was refreshed again.

John 7:24: Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly.

On that instant, I stopped judging them. I stopped whining over their appearances. I’m not in the position of degrading them by judging their appearances.

Each person repesents a family, an office, a school. If they came to know Jesus and have a personal relationship with Him and is committed to honor Him and make disciples for Him, the Philippines will become a true Christian nation where worshipping and talking about God is free. We have the freedom unlike other nations.

The call of discipleship must be innate in every believer. It is a command. The great commission.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. -Matthew 28:19-20

It is not a command of any Christian movement. It is a command of God. Every believer must grow and receive the calling to go and make disciples.

You do not have to be mature to minister. Just go and minister. Maturity follows. Eto lang yan, OBEDIENCE. God honors your obedience. Often times, hindi sasabihin sayo ni God lahat-lahat i  details until you obey. He checks your heart first. Heart issue yan eh. Lordship issue din.

As I end, yung mga pasahero sa jeep na lahat hindi ko kilala, kilala ni God. Bawat isa. Oo, bawat isa. Sabay-sabay. Alam Niya ang iniisip nila at that same moment. 🙂
